Job Summary
Full-time, 10-month JROTC/Air Force educator position in Hendersonville, NC, reporting to the principal. The Teacher develops, selects, and modifies instructional plans and materials to meet diverse student needs, maintains appropriate records, and follows Henderson County Public Schools procedures. Responsibilities include planning a program of study, creating a classroom environment that supports student achievement, delivering articulate instruction, monitoring student performance, engaging with parents and the community, and ensuring safety. Requires NC Teaching License in JROTC (9-12) or eligibility; National Board Certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a valid NC Teaching License or be eligible to obtain a NC Teaching License
- NC Professional Educators License in JROTC (9-12) or eligibility to obtain
- National Board Certification is a preferred qualification
