Job Summary
Teacher, Intervention Specialist - Mild/Moderate (K-3) teaches core subjects to students with autism spectrum disorders and developmental/behavioral needs in program classrooms. Responsibilities include planning curriculum and instructional materials tailored to individual needs, supervising student behavior, collaborating with parents and professionals to develop individualized education programs, administering assessments, maintaining records, and communicating with families and district staff. Requires a Bachelor's degree and an active Intervention Specialist license for Ohio; contract position (185 days) with duties across planning, meetings, and ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- valid Intervention Specialist Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive License with the State of Ohio Department of Education
