Job Summary
Provide an educational experience for primary grade students toward intellectual, emotional, physical, and psychological growth; implement the prescribed curriculum with emergent and early literacy focus; use varied teaching methods; assess levels of student achievement and prescribe actions for improvement; communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues; maintain a safe, orderly environment; collaborate with peers and administrators; apply Florida Educator Accomplished Practices and Teacher Competencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution
- Valid Florida teacher certification in appropriate area
- Must meet the No Child Left Behind Act regulations and requirements
- Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening
