Job Summary
The Innovative Learning Coach works collaboratively with teachers and staff to implement innovative, research-based instructional practices that foster student-centered learning, including blended and project-based learning integrated with technology. This role includes providing leadership through job-embedded professional learning experiences, coaching, and developing instructional materials. Key responsibilities involve establishing supportive learning environments, collaborating on instructional technology, conducting research, and participating in the design and evaluation of educational strategies. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of instructional strategies, effective coaching techniques, and an ability to engage diverse groups in professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in instruction, instructional technology, school leadership or related field
- current VA teaching license
- at least five (5) years of successful full-time teaching experience
- two (2) years of professional development or coaching experience
