Job Summary
High School Graphic Design and Multimedia Arts teacher at ATEMS High School (Abilene ISD). Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum, adapt instruction for student differences, assess learning using formal and informal methods, collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs, supervise and support extracurricular activities, and maintain professional communication with parents, students, and colleagues. Ensure instruction adheres to Texas Education Agency guidelines, district policies, and provides engaging, standards-based learning experiences across the graphic design and multimedia arts subject area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- One year student teaching or approved internship
