Job Summary
Administer disciplinary actions per the Duval County Code of Student Conduct, including counseling students and contacting parents. Disseminate and explain conduct policies to all stakeholders while conducting training for school employees. Develop and oversee school attendance plans, counseling students with excessive absences, and refer cases to guidance services. Initiate suspensions and manage positive behavioral support plans through a dedicated school team. Confer with students, parents, and teachers regarding unauthorized absenteeism and classroom procedures. Starting salary is $48,700 with additional referendum funds available. Requires a Bachelor's degree, two years teaching experience, and a Florida Professional Certificate.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Two (2) years teaching experience
- Florida Department of Education Professional Certificate in appropriate subject area
