Job Summary
Administer disciplinary actions per the Duval County Code of Student Conduct, including counseling students and contacting parents. Disseminate and explain conduct policies to all stakeholders while training school employees. Develop and oversee attendance plans, counseling students with excessive absences, and initiating suspensions. Implement positive behavioral support plans and refer students to guidance services as appropriate. Starting salary is $48,700 with additional referendum funds available for the 26-27 school year. Requires a Bachelor's degree, two years of teaching experience, and a Florida Department of Education Professional Certificate.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Two (2) years teaching experience
- Florida Department of Education Professional Certificate in appropriate subject area
