Job Summary
Teach diverse adolescent learners at CACTUS CANYON HIGH SCHOOL within the Phoenix Union High School District for the 2026-2027 school year. Design, plan, and deliver instruction using varied methods and resources; maintain a positive learning environment; assess student learning through formal and informal methods; keep required records; regularly communicate with parents; collaborate with colleagues, the community, and other agencies; connect academic knowledge to real-life situations; engage in professional development; demonstrate professional knowledge; and perform duties per Board policies and state statutes. Requires Arizona Secondary Teaching Certificate and a Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Possess an Arizona Secondary Teaching Certificate.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree.
- Have an awareness of student needs; i.e., at-risk, ethnic, limited English proficient, exceptional.
- Have an Essential Element of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training or make themselves available to staff development.
