Teacher - Head Start (Greensboro)

Develop and implement individual education plans and developmentally appropriate curricula for preschool children, individualizing instruction as needed. Guide and facilitate daily activities, field trips, and classroom equipment while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. Perform comprehensive portfolio assessments including weekly observations and developmental evaluations, and refer children with special needs to appropriate staff. Collaborate with the Site Supervisor, families, and mental health professionals to execute behavior plans and IEPs, ensuring positive behavior management and least restrictive environments. Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential files while attending training sessions to enhance professional skills. Work in a classroom setting with children ages 3-5, occasionally making home visits or engaging in community activities.
