Job Summary
Teacher will plan and implement learning experiences that advance the intellectual and physical development of preschool children, including readiness for school via literacy/phonemic awareness, vocabulary, print concepts, numeracy, and early math/science; maintain a safe, healthy learning environment; provide active supervision; support social-emotional development and family involvement; collaborate as a team member; requirements include a degree in early childhood education or related field, ability to work with preschoolers, and passing a criminal background check with a Medical Statement prior to first day.
Required Qualifications
- Hold an associate, baccalaureate or advanced degree in early childhood education; OR an associate degree in a field related to early childhood education and course work equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education, with experience teaching preschool-age children; OR a baccalaureate or advanced degree in any field and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education, with experience teaching preschool-age children; Supervised classroom experience with preschool children preferred except as listed above.
