TEACHER at Creek View Elementary School under a nine-month (187-day) contract. Responsibilities include reporting for duty before and after school as needed; meeting and instructing assigned classes per designated times; developing and maintaining a conducive learning environment; establishing discipline; preparing lessons with written evidence of preparation; maintaining accurate records; evaluating student progress; seeking specialist assistance when needed; providing outside educational availability to students/parents; collaborating with staff on instructional goals and activities; assisting in selecting instructional materials; participating in extracurricular activities; attending faculty meetings; maintaining professional relations with parents and the community; and upholding state and district ethics and policies. Duties emphasize adherence to approved courses of study, curriculum guides, and board policies, with ongoing professional development and community engagement.
