Job Summary
Public School No.13 seeks a Grade 6-8 Math teacher in a bilingual Spanish-English environment. The role requires a New Jersey Elementary Teaching Certificate with a middle school math endorsement or K-12 math, and a certificate in Bilingual/Bicultural Education. Required Qualifications
- New Jersey Elementary Teaching Certificate with a middle school math endorsement or K-12 math and a certificate in Bilingual/Bicultural Education
- Knowledge of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management
- Knowledge of assessment and data analysis for instructional purposes
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, parents, administrators, and the community
- Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community
- Demonstrate the ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management, digital technology to augment authentic learning, information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, and telecommunications
- Must be computer literate
- Highly motivated result-driven educator
