Job Summary
Grade 5 teacher - long-term substitute in Maple Grove, MN, Oct 27, 2026 through Jun 11, 2027, full-time (1.0 FTE). Instructs and supports curriculum areas, uses instructional resources and technologies, aligns with district goals, maintains guardian communication, designs and assesses curriculum per district guidelines, and delivers in-person, synchronous and asynchronous learning when applicable while collaborating with staff. Requires MN elementary education licensure or eligible license and willingness to obtain required additional license permissions; prior 5th-grade experience and knowledge of responsive classroom/catalyst approaches preferred. Includes opportunities for district/building leadership participation and professional growth. Employment includes a background check upon conditional offer and EEO commitment from the district.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- MN teaching license in Elementary Education, OR a valid MN teaching license in another field and willing to obtain an Out of Field Permission
