Create and maintain a classroom atmosphere that generates high expectations and enthusiasm for learning by infusing critical thinking, application, interpersonal, and technology skills into an aligned curriculum and assessment process. Use effective communication techniques with students, parents, and stakeholders while establishing a classroom management system that supports intellectual, personal, and social development. Plan, align, implement, and evaluate effective instruction across varied learning environments, utilizing appropriate instructional strategies that reflect each student's culture, learning styles, and special needs. Fulfill ethical and regulatory standards, manage school property, and keep required records. Work with peers, parents, and the community to promote continuous improvement in educational experiences. Complete ESOL training if assigned Limited English Proficient students. Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
