Job Summary
Teach General Science in an SEI setting at the K1-6 level, developing an interdisciplinary, district-aligned science program that emphasizes inquiry and rigorous standards. Implement district science curricula, administer district assessments, and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Demonstrate subject-matter mastery and engaging, well-structured lessons while fostering equitable instruction, high expectations, and strong parent/family engagement. Collaborate with colleagues to reflect on practice, contribute to a professional learning community, and support the district’s goals of closing achievement gaps.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Hold a Bachelor's degree
- Hold a Massachusetts Teaching License in General Science at the appropriate grade level.
- Meet all state and federal guidelines to be fully licensed and Highly Qualified.
- Current authorization to work in the United States by first day of employment.
