Job Summary

Establish and maintain a classroom culture of high expectations, respect, and engagement while delivering standards-aligned lessons in English Language Arts and Social Studies. Use assessment data to refine instruction, provide targeted student support, and maintain accurate records for attendance, grading, and progress monitoring. Collaborate regularly with colleagues and instructional coaches to share best practices, identify diverse learning needs, and strengthen student outcomes. Communicate effectively with students and families as active partners in the learning journey. Serve as a positive role model upholding the mission of closing the achievement gap and preparing students for college and citizenship.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
  • Authorization to teach English Learners (CLAD/BCLAD or equivalent)
