Job Summary
Teach middle school and high school curriculum in both individual and small-group settings within PPL’s Diploma Connect and Literacy Lab; develop curriculum addressing privilege and systems; support postsecondary applications and career trainings; collaborate with community stakeholders; ensure program structures and procedures; requires Minnesota secondary teaching licensure or equivalent life experience; experience with diverse young adults; online learning/team teaching experience; preferred Reading/ELA licensure; experience with GED/HiSet/TABE; full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30am–4:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- State of Minnesota Teaching Licensure for secondary grades, or equivalent life experience
- Substantial experience working directly with young adults from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Substantial experience working with young adults who have experienced many barriers, including systems involvement
- Training and experience in online learning, team teaching, project-based, experiential, and/or competency-based education.
- Experience working with MN high school standards and credit recovery
