Job Summary
Assist in daily classroom activities and child supervision while supporting curriculum implementation aligned with NAEYC and Head Start standards. Conduct developmental screenings, maintain child progress records, and engage with parents to support family and community involvement. Ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment across various sites based on operational needs. Participate in professional development and team collaboration to foster positive child development. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or Infant/Toddler CDA or endorsement or ability to obtain an CDA within 10 months of employment
- Experience in a preschool setting or working with young children
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team
- Basic computer skills to facilitate communication within the agency
- A collaborative mindset with a commitment to the mission of supporting children, families and communities
- Successful completion of a post-offer, pre-employment physical examination
- Successful completion of a TB screen
- Successful completion of a background screen inclusive of CHRI and CARI check
