Job Summary
This role plans and provides for appropriate learning experiences for students in Fine Arts, including instruction at an appropriate level and development of content. The teacher utilizes virtual platforms for communication with students and parents, participates in professional learning to enhance online instruction, maintains lesson plans and records, and collaborates with administrators, colleagues, and families. Requires ability to obtain GaPSC clearance; 190-day work year; salary determined by certification and experience; comprehensive benefits package. Provides a range of duties from instruction and classroom management to home–school communication and substitute-coverage planning, with a focus on student engagement and achievement in alignment with district policies and curriculum.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university
- Certification in Elementary Education (P-12) or eligibility for certification
