Job Summary
Lead learning within the classroom context at Greyfriars RC Primary School, promoting inclusion, diversity, and equality while communicating with stakeholders. Plan instruction to meet all learners' needs using assessment evidence to support positive outcomes, and build sustained positive relationships within the school community to improve learner results. Model professional values including social justice, trust, respect, and integrity in all dealings with children, young people, and families. Contribute to wider improvements across the school community and engage in career-long professional learning to enhance practice.
Required Qualifications

- commitment to own professional learning
- Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership
- full registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) in Primary
- full registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) in Secondary for the specific subject
- model all behaviour expected of a teacher in Scotland in line with the relevant Professional Standards
- approval as regards religious belief and character by representatives of the church
