Job Summary
Teacher responsible for developing and implementing an instructional program to meet student needs, assessing and evaluating performance, and modifying instructional activities. Responsibilities include maintaining organized long-range lesson plans, utilizing varied materials and teaching techniques, monitoring student progress and reporting outcomes, communicating objectives to students and engaging with parents, and complying with division policies. Requires Virginia teaching licensure with endorsement in the assigned area; Education degree(s) and ongoing professional development preferred; 200-day calendar and adherence to the Stafford Schools pay scale for licensed staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or education-related to specific subject area to which assigned
- Hold or be eligible for a valid teaching license which meets Commonwealth of Virginia requirements with specific endorsement in the area to which assigned.
