Teacher/Family Advocate PreK

Provide leadership in Head Start classrooms for PreK, applying professional expertise in child development and family partnership services. Responsibilities include fostering a safe, developmentally appropriate classroom environment; delivering developmentally appropriate activities; individualizing curricula; promoting parental involvement; collaborating with local ESD staff; leading training and support for teaching partners and volunteers; maintaining records and preparing reports; conducting home visits; facilitating IFSP goals and coordinating with Family Services to ensure comprehensive child and family outcomes. Position is salaried and exempt, with wage steps guiding compensation; Step 8 or below at 22.52/hour, Step 9 at 4747.48/month, Step 10+ at 5427.84/month; conversions to annual salary apply.
