Job Summary
Expanded Impact Teacher 2 (EIT2) responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering instruction and monitoring student progress to determine instructional needs; works with a team of teachers and staff to review progress and adjust instruction to ensure increased learning outcomes; reports to Principal and may lead school-wide initiatives; requires data-driven planning, high expectations, classroom management, collaboration with families and community, and leadership in instructional planning and differentiation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- NC Professional Educator's License in the subject area and grade level appropriate to the school’s needs required
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 3 years of prior teaching experience with at least 1 year of demonstrated evidence of high-progress student outcomes in relevant subjects required
- Must be in the CMS Teacher Leader Pathway Talent Pool as an EIT2
