Job Summary
Responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program for exceptional student education (ESE) students through curriculum, lesson plans, educational programs and individual education plan development while ensuring that all procedures are followed to maintain safety and security and to meet federal, state, local regulations. This is a full-time, 196-day instructional role at Gulf High School in New Port Richey, FL, requiring a bachelor’s degree in ESE or related field or state-approved certification pathway, and a valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or eligible status. Reading Endorsement preferred and may be prioritized; background screening is required. Duties include designing curricula, planning lessons, developing IEPs, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations; secondary education may involve additional compensation for teaching extra periods beyond base contract.”,
Required Qualifications
