Job Summary
Develop, plan, and implement an instructional program for Exceptional Student Education (ESE) students through curriculum, lesson plans, and individual education plan development. Ensure all procedures follow federal, state, and local regulations to maintain safety and security. Manage 196 days per year as a full-time instructional position at West Pasco Education Academy. Candidates must hold a valid Florida Educator's Certificate or district-issued adjunct certification. A Reading Endorsement is preferred. This secondary education role may require teaching an additional period beyond the base contract, with additional compensation paid as a supplement based on the district's payroll calendar.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in the field of Exceptional Student Education, or related field
- Approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program
- Valid Florida Educator's Certificate or District-issued adjunct certification
- Valid statement of eligibility
