Job Summary
Educator responsible for developing and implementing an instructional program for Exceptional Student Education (ESE) students (Emotionally/Behaviorally Disabled) at Pasco County Schools. Responsibilities include planning curriculum, creating lesson plans, developing individual education plans (IEPs), and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in ESE or related field or state-approved certification pathway, and a valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or district adjunct certification (or eligibility). Reading Endorsement preferred. This is a full-time instructional role at Land O' Lakes, FL for the 2026-2027 school year, with 196 instructional days and potential additional compensation for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Exceptional Student Education, or related field, OR Approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program
- Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or District-issued adjunct certification, OR Valid statement of eligibility
- Reading Endorsement preferred or willingness to sign agreement to earn endorsement
