TEACHER, EXCEPTIONAL ED (BAILEY)

Meet and instruct assigned classes in designated locations and times while planning programs of study that address individual student needs. Create a conducive classroom environment, employ varied instructional techniques, and guide learning toward curriculum goals through clear objectives. Assess student accomplishments regularly, diagnose learning abilities, and maintain accurate records per law and district policy. Encourage behavioral standards, protect student safety, and implement the district's educational philosophy and CORE Literacy initiative. Supervise teacher aide(s) and volunteers, evaluate their performance, and assist administration in enforcing student conduct rules. Maintain professional competence by attending staff meetings and committees, and remain available to students and parents outside instructional hours as required.
