Job Summary
Exceptional Children Teacher responsible for providing special education services to students with disabilities in accordance with state and federal regulations. Develop and implement IEPs, create instructional plans aligned to the curriculum, adapt materials, and design activities to foster academic, behavioral, and social skills while monitoring progress and maintaining records. Requires collaboration with parents and support staff, effective behavior management, and adherence to professional development and school-wide standards. 10-month position following the school academic calendar; Bachelor’s degree in education and valid NC teaching certificate required.
