Teacher - Exceptional Child/LBD - VGES

Instruct assigned classes in designated locations and times while planning programs that meet individual student needs. Establish clear curriculum objectives, guide learning toward achievement goals, and create a classroom environment conducive to learning. Prepare for classes, maintain accurate records, and take precautions to protect students and facilities. Assist administration in implementing policies, develop classroom behavior rules, and maintain order fairly. Remain available to students and parents outside instructional days when required. Attend staff meetings, serve on committees, and participate in textbook selection. Incorporate technology in daily tasks, promote public relations for school programs, and report unusual occurrences immediately. Maintain professional appearance and adhere to the code of conduct. Work 187 days with salary and work year established by the Board.
