Teacher - Exceptional Child/LBD - GCB

Instruct assigned classes in designated locations and times while planning programs that address individual student needs, interests, and abilities. Create a conducive learning environment, prepare written evidence of lesson readiness, and guide instruction toward curriculum goals established by the Board of Education. Maintain accurate records, protect student safety and facilities, and enforce classroom behavior rules fairly. Assist administration in implementing policies, attend staff meetings and committees, and promote public relations for school programs. Become acquainted with parents, report unusual events immediately, and remain at school for the entire day unless excused. Implement district rules and regulations, maintain professional appearance, incorporate technology in daily tasks, and continuously improve professional competence through collaboration.
