Job Summary
ESS Inclusion Teacher designs, plans, and provides specially designed instruction (SDI) based on IEPs; co-plans, co-instructs, and co-assesses to support students with disabilities in general education; collaborates with administrators, teachers, families, and professionals; maintains required records (SDI logs, progress notes, IEP paperwork); leads annual IEP meetings and ensures compliance with timelines; collaborates with other professionals to implement inclusive practices and accommodations/modifications; uses data to monitor progress and apply evidence-based strategies; trains staff to implement services per IEPs; works independently with moderate supervision; job located in a school environment with normal office/classroom duties.
Required Qualifications
- Possesses a bachelors degree.
- Has experience working with students with varying disabilities within the general education setting.
- Demonstrates knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of specially designed instruction (SDI).
- Possess a Current Arizona Standard Secondary Teaching Certificate.
- Possess current certification in Special Education.
