Job Summary
Conduct secondary mathematics instruction for students with emotional/behavioral disorders, adhering to the Florida Educator's Certificate and ESE certification requirements. Deliver curriculum aligned with the Course Code Directory and separate subject area content standards. Submit to a Level 2 background check including fingerprinting, FBI, and local criminal history records checks through the Agency for Health Care Administration Clearinghouse. Maintain eligibility pursuant to Florida State Statute 435.04.
Required Qualifications
- Currently possess or eligibility to receive a valid Florida Educator's Certificate
- Certified in-field for position
- Certification in appropriate ESE area to match the Course Code Directory and separate subject area content certifications
- Submit to a Level 2 background check pursuant to Florida State Statute 435.04
- Be found eligible by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
- Pass statewide criminal history records checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement
- Pass national criminal history records checks through the Federal Bureau of Investigation
- Pass local criminal records checks through local law enforcement agencies
- Pass a search of the sexual predator and sexual offender registries of any state in which the prospective employee resided during the immediate preceding 5 years
