Teacher- English Teacher for 2026-2027

English Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities include establishing and implementing classroom procedures to maximize student learning, preparing weekly lesson plans aligned with Oklahoma Academic Standards, implementing IEPs and behavioral interventions, maintaining an orderly classroom and student records, providing regular feedback to students and parents, collaborating with professionals to improve student progress, coordinating with teacher assistants and volunteers, and planning/participating in professional development. Requires classroom instruction in an environment conducive to learning, ability to adapt instruction for individual students, use data to guide instruction, and maintain compliance with district policies and laws. This is a 10-month contract position in Ponca City Public Schools with duties including managing student records, attending meetings, and coordinating field trips and classroom activities.
