Job Summary
English teacher for 21 hours per week at Madras College, St Andrews (Temporary contract until 15 August 2027). The role requires GTCS registration, PVG scheme membership, and the ability to promote inclusion, diversity and equality, plan and deliver learning, assess and use curriculum knowledge, and build positive relationships to support learners’ outcomes. The successful candidate will model GTCS values and engage with professional learning to drive improvements in teaching, learning, and wellbeing within the school community.
Required Qualifications
- Full General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) registration
- PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland
- GTCS registration for primary/secondary as applicable
- Fully registered with GTCS to teach the relevant sector
- Demonstrated commitment to professional learning and professional standards
