TEACHER - ENGLISH

Teaches North Carolina Standard Course of Study/Common Core and Essential Standards for assigned grade. Plans, organizes, and presents instruction and instructional environments to support student learning and development. Collaborates with administrators and participates in district committees, communicates with parents, and engages in ongoing professional learning. Must hold or be qualified to hold a North Carolina Professional Educator's License and have a Bachelor's degree. Knowledge of research-based practices, assessment for learning, technology in instruction, and the ability to motivate and manage a classroom are required. Location: Vanceboro, NC; full-time, in-person teaching duties with responsibilities including planning lessons, maintaining classroom standards, evaluating student progress, managing materials, and participating in school activities. Energetic and flexible with capacity to work with a diverse student population in a public-school setting.
