Teacher - Elementary School - HLES

Instruct assigned classes at designated locations and times while planning programs that address individual student needs and interests. Create a conducive learning environment, establish clear curriculum objectives, and guide lessons toward achievement of Board of Education goals. Prepare for classes, maintain accurate records, and implement all district policies and administrative guidelines. Protect students, equipment, and facilities; develop classroom behavior rules; and remain available to students and parents outside instructional hours when required. Collaborate with colleagues, attend staff meetings, and serve on committees. Promote public relations for school programs, maintain professional appearance, and incorporate technology into daily tasks. Report unusual occurrences to the principal immediately and adhere to the professional code of conduct.
