Job Summary
Elementary Teacher for a one-year assignment at Yealey Elementary School. Responsibilities include meeting and instructing assigned classes using district curriculum, maintaining a conducive classroom environment, developing daily lesson plans and materials, providing individualized and small-group instruction, translating plans into learning experiences, evaluating student growth and maintaining records, communicating with parents about progress, collaborating with district specialists as needed, upholding student behavior standards per the Student Code of Conduct, creating engaging classroom displays, maintaining professional records, and participating in in-service education and school activities. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and Kentucky teaching certificate, ability to work effectively with students, peers, and adults, and strong communication skills with students, parents, staff, and community. Terms of employment are 9 months; location specified as Yealey Elementary School.
