Job Summary
Elementary Generalist Teacher delivering instruction under a temporary contract, teaching in line with Indiana Article 7 requirements; responsibilities include implementing curriculum, maintaining high student performance standards, monitoring progress, keeping attendance, creating an effective classroom environment, performing non-instructional duties, administering tests and reporting results to parents, sponsoring activities or student organizations, assisting students with course selection and academic adjustment, and participating in professional development and meetings; requires a valid Indiana teaching license and ability to obtain an emergency permit or temporary license if needed; candidate should demonstrate knowledge of instructional strategies and maintaining classroom discipline and alignment to school policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Indiana teaching license for the teaching assignment
- Willingness to obtain Emergency Permit or equivalent temporary license if not held at time of offer
- Working knowledge of computers
