Teacher-Elementary Ed K-5 (26-27SY)

Elementary Teacher (K-5) in East Flat Rock, NC. Responsibilities include planning a program of study, developing and modifying instructional plans to meet diverse student needs, delivering instruction, maintaining student records, and following district procedures. Requires leadership in an educational environment, ability to deliver articulate presentations and written reports, establish positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the community, and be available for communication outside instructional hours. Must possess or qualify for a NC teaching license and hold at least a bachelor’s degree in an approved education program; National Board Certification preferred. 10-month, 8-hour day schedule; permanent full-time with full benefits.
