Job Summary
Provide bilingual elementary instruction (Spanish-English) at Hickey Elementary under Plano ISD, delivering engaging lessons aligned to district and TEA guidelines. Develop and implement lesson plans, differentiate instruction to accommodate individual student differences, assess student learning, and use results to inform teaching. Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs, integrate technology into instruction, manage classroom behavior, and maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues. Plan activities and supervision for teacher aide(s) and volunteers; participate in staff development; and uphold district policies while supporting student growth and development. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, a valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsed area, and Special Education certification for Early Childhood campuses, with ability to read and speak Spanish fluently. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
