Job Summary
Elementary and Special Education teacher with SEI endorsement for a long-term substitute in Boston Public Schools. Responsibilities include teaching Elementary General Curriculum to an inclusive classroom of students with Special Needs and English Language Learners, writing and implementing IEP goals, providing accommodations and progress reports, developing curriculum as needed, and collaborating with staff to support diverse learners. Requires mastery of effective teaching practices, ability to differentiate instruction, and alignment with district/state standards; candidates should be prepared to work in an urban setting and hold the appropriate Massachusetts licenses and SEI/ESL endorsement.
Required Qualifications
- Education Level: Hold a Bachelor’s degree
- Hold a Massachusetts Teaching License in Elementary 1-6 AND Moderate Disabilities PK-8 AND either SEI Endorsement OR ESL license for the appropriate grade level
- Current authorization to work in the United States
