Job Summary
Responsible for elementary classroom instruction and training to students in 3rd grade. Plans and implements a data-driven program of study, creates a conducive learning environment, prepares lesson plans, assesses student progress, collaborates with administrators, colleagues and parents, and maintains records. Requires certification in Elementary Education (Missouri) and a Bachelor’s degree; expected to integrate technology (1-to-1 devices, smart boards) and adhere to district policies. Located in Columbia, MO; duties include after-hours availability and supervising aides/volunteers where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree; Missouri teacher certificate in Elementary Education.
- Preferred: Missouri teacher certificate in Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 3) and Elementary Education (Grades 1-6).
