Job Summary
Provide quality instruction aligned to Minnesota state standards. Use diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments to inform instructional decisions and increase student self-management of learning. Collaborate with peers to plan and implement best practices, communicate regularly with families, and create safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environments. Work to support district and school goals, participate in ongoing professional development, and demonstrate knowledge of subject matter and effective classroom management. Minimum requirement includes a Bachelor’s Degree and Minnesota teaching license (or pending licensure); Master’s degree preferred. Final candidates may be invited to interview after completing the application materials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- A valid Minnesota teaching license; or proof of pending approved licensure
- Prior successful experience student teaching or teaching in an urban, multicultural education setting
