Job Summary
Provide quality instruction aligned to the Minnesota State Standards and District Graduation Requirements for Fifth Grade. Use a variety of assessment strategies (diagnostic, formative, and summative) to inform instructional decisions and foster student growth; engage students in rigorous inquiry-based learning; collaborate with peers to implement best practices; communicate regularly with families and utilize community resources to support learning; participate in ongoing professional development and campus STEM team activities to ensure integrated instruction across disciplines. Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree, valid Minnesota teaching license (or pending licensure), and experience in urban/multicultural education; a Master's or PhD is preferred. The position is full-time (1.0 FTE, 42 weeks) with a salary range of $55,796 to $116,593 and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- Minnesota teaching license or proof of pending approved licensure
- Prior successful experience student teaching or teaching in an urban, multicultural education setting
- Master's or PhD preferred
