Job Summary
Part-time Gifted ELA teacher responsible for planning engaging learning experiences, delivering instruction at an appropriate level, developing content, assessing student progress, promoting engagement, and maintaining a productive classroom and virtual environment. Requires certification eligibility in Gifted field, GaPSC clearance, and ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues; duties include coordinating conferences, home-school communication, and adhering to district policies. Strong knowledge of instructional design, lesson planning, data interpretation, and online instruction across a 190-day school year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education
- Certification, license or eligibility for certification in Gifted education
- Ability to obtain GaPSC clearance
- Salary based on certification and experience; 190-day work year (implies full-time-equivalent structure)
