Job Summary
Plan, organize and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their educational and social development. Manage instructional time, student behavior, and instructional presentation; monitor student performance and provide feedback; facilitate instruction aligned with school goals; collaborate with co-workers, parents, and the community; perform related non-instructional duties.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction
- Must not be on the NCDPI list of teachers no longer qualified to teach and/or must not be currently engaged in a certification revocation hearing process
