Job Summary
Plan and implement dynamic, child-centered curricula to ensure fun, age-appropriate lessons for early learners. Supervise each child by identifying, seeing, hearing, directing, and assisting to maintain a safe environment. Cultivate a sensitive learning space while supporting personal care routines and light cleaning. Uphold YMCA, state, and quality rating system policies to ensure overall commitment to childcare standards. Provide patient, kind guidance to parents and serve as a positive role model for children and families.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of an achieved degree from an accredited college or university in education or human services related field as defined by the appropriate state licensing agency
- 2 plus years (2500 Hours) childcare experience
