Job Summary
Plan and implement dynamic, child-centered curricula to ensure fun, age-appropriate lessons. Supervise each child by identifying, seeing, hearing, directing, and assisting to maintain a safe environment. Cultivate a sensitive early learning atmosphere while providing light cleaning and supporting personal care routines. Uphold all YMCA, State, and Quality Rating Systems policies for overall commitment to quality in childcare. Find new and engaging ways to help kids learn while being patient and kind with parents.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of an achieved degree from an accredited college or university in education or human services related field as defined by the appropriate state licensing agency.
- 2 plus years (2500 Hours) childcare experience
