Job Summary
Plan and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula to ensure fun, child-centered learning experiences. Supervise each child by identifying, seeing, hearing, directing, and assisting to maintain a safe environment. Cultivate a sensitive, patient atmosphere for children and families while finding engaging ways to help kids learn. Uphold all YMCA, State, and Quality Rating Systems policies regarding childcare quality. Maintain a healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting personal care routines. Be patient and kind with parents while making a positive, lasting difference in the lives of children and their families.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of an achieved degree from an accredited college or university in education or human services related field as defined by the appropriate state licensing agency.
- 2 plus years (2500 Hours) childcare experience
