Job Summary
ECSE Teacher provides instruction for preschool students ages 3-5 with identified developmental delays, using a blended pre-k inclusion and self-contained model. Responsibilities include developing and implementing instructional plans, coordinating and documenting IEPs and ARD processes, collaborating with general and special education teachers, maintaining data on student progress, preparing lesson plans, and providing family communications about student progress; requires strong knowledge of TEKS, ARD/IEP processes, curriculum, data collection, collaboration, and technology, with emphasis on social/emotional development, communication and motor skills, and self-help skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements and level assigned
